Additional Job Information
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Elementary knowledge of the proper method of serving food and the care of tableware, glassware, silver and kitchen appliances; practical working knowledge of modern cleaning methods and the use of cleaning supplies and appliances; ability to follow simple oral and written directions; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position. (Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and stand for longer durations.
Minimum Qualifications: Some experience in domestic work including food service and ability to read and write English, or any equivalent combination of the foregoing training and experience.
Duties of Assignment: Serving food, washing and sanitizing food service utensils and assisting with other food service activities required for the operation of the food program. Substitutes are required to work cooperatively with staff and supervisors.
