It is currently anticipated that the position will be part-time. The position could potentially increase to full-time. (Approximately two days per week, 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.) The individual will be responsible for instructing students in clinical care per curriculum outline, program objectives, program calendar, patient/resident care plans, and the National Council Licensure Examination-Practical Nurse (NCLEX-PN) Test Plan, and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Scope of Practice at various healthcare facilities. The individual will track, record, and report clinical performance on evaluation tools. A bachelor of science degree in nursing, credentials verifying legal status as a Registered Professional Nurse, current technical nursing skills, and computer competency are required. Previous teaching and management experience are desired. The individual must have or be eligible for appropriate teaching certification upon hire. Regular attendance and dependability are required. Other responsibilities may be assigned. The assignment is subject to change.
