Non-certified Substitute Teachers

This is a per diem position.

 REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have completed Student Teaching AND have a recommendation from supervising teacher and/or student teacher advisor; OR
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree*
• Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Dept. of Education.

*PLEASE NOTE: Substitutes without a valid certification and who are not working towards certification can work a maximum of 40 day per school year.

SUBSTITUTE ORIENTATION: 

Before being added to the Substitute Teacher list, you must complete all paperwork and view an online orientation.  Once your references have been checked, you will receive an e-mail with detailed instructions regarding picking up a paperwork packet and viewing the orientation.

PLEASE DO NOT MAIL, FAX OR E-MAIL ANY RESUMES, LETTERS OF INTEREST, REFERENCE LETTERS, TRANSCRIPTS OR CERTIFICATIONS TO THE SCHOOL DISTRICT.  ALL OF THE ABOVE SHOULD BE ATTACHED TO YOUR APPLICATION ON-LINE.
